									                          Engaged Learning Project Guidelines

      (Submit projects to Technology Committee Chairman on or before February 1st)

1.      Project demonstrates a need which can be best met by using requested technology
        because existing resources alone cannot meet need.

2.      Project is directed toward using technology to improve measurable student
        performance.

3.      Project targets specific local outcomes and objectives and State Goals and
        Standards. The project targets specific cross-curricular local outcomes and
        objectives and State Goals and Standards.

4.      Project addresses how student will be:
                Given responsibility for own learning appropriate to grade level.
                Motivated by the project.
                Involved in problem solving strategies.
                Involved in collaborative activities.

5.      Project describes types of technology to be utilized and how technology will be
        integrated into the curriculum(s).

6.      Project describes the instructional resources that will be needed.

7.      Project provides explanation of cost.

8.      Project includes a timeline.

9.      Project describes an evaluation design.

10.     Technology Committee Chairman will notify project applicants by March 15th.
