Start 2009 with an exhilarating Winter Ice Rally Driving event in the splendor of the
frozen lakes of Sweden. We have over 10 years experience of providing top class
rally based experiences and courses based at our rally stages and forest training
sites throughout the UK. Each winter Extreme Rally goes continental and gets even
more extreme as we head for the frozen lakes and ice forest stages of the far north of
Sweden, bordering Norway in our search for the ultimate rally driving experience. Our
Winter Rally Event is unique and you and your friends and family can try your hand at
driving our Hyundai Coupes and Mitsubishi Evo’s fitted with special studded tyres.
Compete in an Ice karting Grand Prix and experience the breathtaking wilderness of
the Swedish mountains and forests on a magical Snowmobile Trek.
Your experience includes the following:

   •   Transfers from Stockholm (designated flight only)
   •   Two nights hotel accommodation bed & breakfast based on sharing a twin
       room in Hotel Bugelhof (non participants are welcome)
   •   Lunch on location on the day of your experience
   •   Ice Karting Grand Prix
   •   Your chosen Ice Rally Driving Experience
   •   Optional Snowmobile Trekking in the Swedish mountains & forests (1. 5 hour
       trek at an additional cost)
   •   Helmets with pelter intercoms and protective clothing where necessary
   •   Hot and cold drinks available throughout the weekend

Hotel Bugelhof – Salen, Sweden

Hotel Bugelhof offers comfortable rooms with WC, showers and cable-TV. The Hotel
hosts Restaurant Harry’s, also a newly opened piano bar for late evening
entertainment. If you want a relaxing spa experience, the hotel offers various
treatments. Furthermore there is a selection of restaurants within easy walking
distance of the hotel.

Salen is the most popular and busiest Swedish Ski resort with good nightlife and
excellent skiing for all levels of skill.
The Location
The Ice Rally Driving and Ice Karting Grand Prix take place on a frozen lake
located in the wilderness of N Loten, which is almost on the border of Norway.
The area is 900 metres above sea level and experiences temperatures of
minus 8 to minus 20 during January to March. The lake itself measures
approximately 10 x 1 Kilometres and has ice 1 metre thick, providing excellent ice
rallying conditions. The snowmobile trek ventures into the surrounding mountain and
forest area

The Cars
Hyundai Coupe 2 ltr 16 valve fully works prepared group N rally car

Using our Hyundai Coupes which were specially built for the Hyundai World Rally
Team as practice and recce' cars for the World Championship Drivers to use. These
2 litre 16 valve Coupes have all the modifications you would expect with up-rated
engines and professional Proflex Suspension. They are finished to a high standard
and are perfect for teaching front wheel drive rally driving techniques.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution fully works prepared group N rally car

Over the past few years the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has been developed into a
world championship winner competing against other rally super-cars. In national
rallying the group N version has won on numerous occasions and on all surfaces.
This is your chance to try this thoroughbred on our ice stages and see if you have the
skill to get the best out of this fantastic rally car. The cars are fitted with special
studded tyres which give the car tremendous grip on corners and under braking
making this an experience to remember.

Mitsubishi Evo 6 Passenger Rides…..Instructor’s Revenge!

Whichever of the 2 experience options you choose you will not escape the
Instructors Revenge!! This is the only time the instructor takes the wheel, for you to
experience the ride of your life at high speed! Your ride will take place on the lake or
on the frozen forest stages. The driver will demonstrate some of the skills and
techniques you have learnt during your rally driving experience.

Friday Evening
You will be greeted at Stockholm Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Evening at leisure. (In the case of an early scheduled flight Sundays’ activities are
transferred to Friday afternoon)

After breakfast transfer to the frozen lake for your Ice Rally Driving Experience
Morning session commences
Hot lunch is served at the farm bordering the lake
Afternoon session commences
Experience closes with Instructor’s Revenge

After breakfast transfer to the frozen lake for Ice Karting Grand Prix
and pre-booked Snow Mobile Trekking
Journey home
Ice Karting

Your event includes participation in our Ice Karting Grand Prix. Do not confuse this
activity with indoor karting you may have experienced in the UK. The karts are
equipped with full studded tyres that give them great grip on the ice, but carry your
speed into the corners……see how you can power slide them all the way around the
corners. This activity gives you a great introduction to the art of racing on ice.

             The race begins!
Snow Mobile Trekking (Optional)

Try your hand at driving a snow mobile on the specially prepared tracks. Imagine
venturing into the mountains on your motorised skidoo, across deep snow, along a
frozen river and through the trees on fully marked and prepared routes.

Optional Additional costs
Snow Mobile Trekking 1.5 hours - £95.00 per machine (driver & pilion)
Non-participants are welcome, we simply charge for the accommodation and lunch
with the driver on the day of the experience

Single Room supplement - £60.00 per night
Visit to Norway WRC (w/e13 to 15 February) price per person - £85.00
