PERSONAL BEHAVIOR CONTRACT – 2010
Thank you for choosing to attend Quinebarge. Life in Camp offers you many
unique experiences as a growing person, living in our community of friends.
You form new friendships and learn to meet the challenges of independence.
You are responsible for your own actions in your words and in your deeds.
Campers and Staff will support and treat each other with genuine respect.
A Camper is responsible to do his/her part to help create a positive and
enjoyable experience for yourself, your friends and fellow campers, your counselors
and support staff, and all people you meet. Treat everyone with respect and courtesy!
All Campers are expected to show high standards of conduct and to accept
personal responsibility and consequences for their actions.
All Campers must behave with honesty, courtesy, and consideration for others.
Good manners and good conduct will be shown to all in Camp and any people you
come into contact with, visitors to camp or people met in activities away from Camp.
While we are not all adults, we already know right from wrong.
Each of us can learn Common Sense to use in our interactions with others.
Most rules are based on the simplest.
The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you!
Or… What you give is what you get…
We ask and expect you, the Camper, to agree with your signature as your bond that:
1 . A Camper follows all directions given by adult staff and follows camp rules and
regulations both established before arrival at camp as well as any which may be
established during the camp session.
2. A Camper uses Common Sense and Shows Consideration for Others at all times.
3. A Camper shall not be involved in any way with smoking, alcohol, drugs (other
than those administered by the camp nurse or doctors), weapons, vandalism,
theft, or any other behavior deemed by the Directors and Staff to be
detrimental to the health, well-being, or safety of the Camper, the Quinebarge
Family or the community.
4. Campers will use polite language at all times. Profanity will not be tolerated.
5. Campers will use good manners and behave politely while dining.
6. Campers will help around their cabins to keep things clean and tidy.
7. Campers will remain on camp property at all times unless escorted by Camp Staff
to activities which take place away from camp or for medical emergencies
requiring transportation to our physician or a clinic.

“Take Only Pictures – Leave Only Footprints” is a great rule for us all!

9. A Camper sleeps only in his/her assigned cabin and bed each night while in camp
10. Campers may never enter any Camper Cabin other than their assigned cabin
unless invited and accompanied by a staff member assigned to that cabin.

Permitted items remain in a Camper’s cabin unless given permission to use
them elsewhere.

No voice, voicemail, texting or tweeting! If a Camper feels he/she must contact
home outside of the mail we urge him/her to write and send to parents and
friends, ask your Counselor or the Director for assistance.
Violations of camp rules, or other conduct un-becoming a member of our Camp
community may result in a Camper being sent home. This is at the sole discretion of
the Camp Director. The Parents or Guardian will be contacted and Parents will bear
