The new iPhone 3G will be available at Orange Switzerland as of July 11th, 2008
The new, UMTS-capable iPhone 3G, which was presented by Apple CEO Steve Jobs at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, will be available from Orange as of July 11th, 2008. The new iPhone 3G will come with either 8 GB or 16 GB of memory. With its unique user interface, the iPhone is sure to amaze when surfing the Internet and using YouTube and other Internet services. As a large-screen iPod, the revolutionary device is perfect for synchronizing and playing music via iTunes. Business customers in particular will value the new push email function as well as the synchronization of calendar, contacts and documents with a server as well as the search function and map applications. Even mobile telephony will become a new experience thanks to the touch-sensitive screen. Interested customers can reserve the new version of the iPhone 3G quadband and WiFi cult mobile phone now by going to www.orange.ch. Additional information about the offer (price with and without subscription) will be provided when the phone becomes available. The Orange Group will also launch the new iPhone 3G on July 11th, 2008 in Austria, France and Portugal. Later in the year the new iPhone will be available in the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Belgium, Luxemburg, Poland, Romania and Slovakia as well as in Orange's African markets.
