1 Communication
Until Thursday June 11th, 2009 alterations in the schedule will be published at www.aqrt.nl (see the Tournament
Information section in the menu).

Later on, you can get the information at the information/registration desk in the central hall of the Sporthallen Zuid.

Teams are responsible to obtain the necessary information at the above locations.


2 Registration
Teams

The registration should be done only by the team manager or someone replacing him or her in the sports venue. The
team manager receives all tournament material for the entire team.

       Participants that stay in the StayOkay receive the room keys. In the StayOkay you do not have to check in.
       If we did not (completely) receive the tournament fee and StayOkay costs for your team, you have to pay the
        open amount in cash at the registration desk.
       Please leave your mobile phone number at the registration desk and keep your phone turned on so we can
        contact you for urgent matters.
       You receive the tournament brochures, t-shirts and coupons for lunch and diner.

Referees

Referees that arrive as part of a team register together with their team. Individual referees should register at the
same time and place where the teams register, depending on their arrival date.

Referee meeting is Friday at 20:30 in the StayOkay

Table officials

Table officials that arrive as part of a team register together with their team.

Individual table officials should register at the same time and place where the teams register, depending on their
arrival date.


2.1 Friday June 12 from 15:00 – 22:00

For teams that arrive on Friday June 12, the registration is between 15:00 and 22:00 at the Sporthallen Zuid.

Each team that arrives on Friday has to register on Friday and leave the rugby wheelchairs at the Sporthallen Zuid.
The organisation of the tournament will not be able to transport rugby wheelchairs from the hostel to the Sporthallen
Zuid on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Registration on Friday will be done by Ya‟ara Raiman (phone +31 6 14664465) and Gerhard Sih (phone +31 6 201 47
206) (only during registration hours).

Dinner at the StayOkay is between 19:00 – 20:30 for all participants that stay in the StayOkay.


2.2 Saturday June 13 from 08:00 – 12:00

For teams that arrive on Saturday June 13, the registration is between 08:00 and 12:00 at the Sporthallen Zuid.

Registration on Saturday will be done by Gerhard Sih (phone +31 6 201 47 206) and Yvette de Graaff (phone +31 6
2601 6651) (only during registration time).

3 Transportation for teams arriving by plane
For teams arriving by plane we have arranged transportation from/to the airport and between the StayOkay and the
Sporthallen Zuid.

Please report any changes in flight details right away to rugby@ideasign.nl or at the information desk in the
Sporthallen Zuid during the tournament.

Each team is responsible for its own equipment. The organisation is not responsible for any lost or damaged
equipment.


4 Parking / Shuttle between Venue and Hotel
There is a shuttle service between the sports venue and hotel for all participants. On Friday the shuttle is between
15:00 and 22:00. You can park your car on the parking places of the sports venue for free if you leave your car there
until Sunday. The public parking spaces (street names: IJsbaanpad, Burgerweeshuispad) are free only with your
handicapped parking card visible on Saturday and Sunday. Look for all parking details on our website. (Parking
regulations have changed in Amsterdam since 2007).


5 Classification
Players should bring their international classification card or, if they don‟t have one, their national classification card.
Unfortunately we don‟t have a classifier committee.


6 Tournament rules and regulations
Official IWRF-rules:

       4 x 8 minutes
       0.5 point bonus for each female player on court
       players must have an official classification

With the following modifications:

       7.0 points per team
       No „goal clock‟
       Tied score: "over time with golden goal"
        in the final: over-time period(s)

Also note:

       Wheelchairs must conform the IWRF-rules.
       No chair checks during the tournament only when there is a protest.
       Captains meetings 10 minutes before the game (off court), also check all players for necklace and earrings.
       Please start the game on time because of the tight schedule.
       In case a team cannot start to play in accordance with the rules within 15 minutes after the scheduled time,
        the game is forfeit and the opponent team is declared the winner.
       Some of our table officials are inexperienced (learning).
       Check that the clock is working before the game. Let it run to test it.

8 Hostel StayOkay Vondelpark
Check in
You do not have to check in at the StayOkay. You receive your keys at the registration in the sports venue.

Bathrooms
Rooms B1.05, B2.05 and B3.05 have accessible bathrooms and can be used by all participants that stay in the
StayOkay.

Note: The Sporthallen Zuid also has accessible bathrooms and toilets. Shower chairs are available there.

Meals
The restaurant (located at the 1st floor) in the StayOkay is not large enough for all participants at the same time.
Please try not to enter the restaurant all at the same time.

Dinner on Friday and Sunday is between 19:00 – 20:30 for all participants that stay in the StayOkay.

Breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning is served as package by the StayOkay. Every participant that stays in the
StayOkay can get one breakfast package in room “Paris”. Do not go to the breakfast area.

Passport numbers
Due to city regulations the hostels needs passport numbers of all visitors. The StayOkay will ask you to provide this
info upon check-in.


9 Sports Venue Sporthallen-Zuid
The Sporthallen Zuid has accessible bathrooms and toilets. Shower chairs are available there.


10 Dinner Saturday June 13
Dinner for all teams is in the Sporthallen Zuid on Saturday June 13 starting at 18:30.


11 Miscellaneous
During the tournament Double Performance is present for technical assistance.

The organisation has reserved a special room in the Sporthallen Zuid for referees/table officials.
