McShane Construction Earns Prestigious Safety Awards

McShane Construction Corporation recently received the Builders Association
of Greater Chicago’s prestigious Safety Excellence Award in the largest cate-
gory of employee hours worked — over 250,000 hours. The award from the
BAGC recognizes the best safety record over the past year based upon OSHA
safety statistics. McShane Construction also received a Certification of Com-
mendation for Excellent Safety Record from the National AGC organization.
“These awards are testament to each and every McShane employee who

The Elliott Group Chooses McShane for Multi-Building Condo Development
Situated in the north suburban community of Morton Grove, Illinois, The Elliott
Group, Inc. has embarked on the development of The Woodlands of Morton Grove, a
significant new multi-family development located at 6315 Lincoln Avenue. McShane
Construction Corporation has been selected to provide design/build services for the
construction of the first phase of the development consisting of an eight-story build-
ing containing 84 condominium units. The 132,000 square foot project is situated on
a 14.8-acre site with the exterior facade constructed of reinforced masonry brick with
precast concrete floor slabs and bearing walls. The first two floors of the building
have been dedicated to private garage parking for the tenants. The six upper floors
will house one-, two- and three-bedroom condo units ranging from 1,076 square feet
to 1,944 square feet. The McShane team is also providing the site work and improve-

Group, are pleased to announce the co-development of the Cordia Senior Resi-
dence in Westmont, Illinois. Cordia Senior Residence, the flagship brand of Cor-
dia Senior Living, provides custom-care solutions and innovative programming

110,800 square foot, 117-unit Cordia Senior Residence community, located at
865 N. Cass Avenue in Westmont, Illinois, will be gracefully situated on a
