How do I buy and set up my BlackBerry®?
BlackBerry® Internet Solution It’s really easy. Visit one of our shops to understand which BlackBerry® device you like best. Your can have up to 10 webmail (POP3) accounts on each device. Once you have decided which device you want, either we’ll set it up free of charge and you walk out with it working or you can set it up yourself. Simple!
BlackBerry® Enterprise Server™ Same thing applies to the type of device you choose; it’s about how you use it, how it feels to you and how many you require for your business. We work with you and your IT team to understand your email server set up and how the BlackBerry® will integrate with your existing mobile communications. We need to understand how and where you are going to use your BlackBerry® and then provide you with a quotation. After that, Manx Telecom, your IT team or another organisation set up the necessary IT elements within your server environment.
Once complete, the server and the BlackBerry® device exchange passwords and PINS. After a few moments the emails have been pushed to your device and the next time your click your BlackBerry® you have all your emails up and running ready to be mobile. How much does the BlackBerry® Service cost?

BlackBerry® Devices The price you pay for your BlackBerry® device will vary depending on your monthly tariff. If you will be using BlackBerry® as an all-in-one voice and data solution, you can just add one of our competitive Talk/Text tariffs. Minimum contract period is 12 months. If the BlackBerry® tariff is added to an existing Talk/Text agreement, the Minimum Term shall be equivalent to the original Minimum Period remaining on the Talk/Text agreement plus the period for connection to the BlackBerry® service. On Island Monthly Tariff The monthly subscription of £12.77 (£14.69 inc VAT) does not vary no
matter how much BlackBerry® data you use whilst connected locally to the Manx Telecom network. Sending and receiving email; reading attachments; wireless synchronisation of calendar, tasks and address book; web browsing via the BlackBerry® browser and access to mobile applications are all included in the subscription. Pay-as-you-use Roaming If you are going to occasionally use your device within the UK, your data roaming usage will be based on Manx Telecom’s standard roaming charge of £1.28 (£1.47 inc VAT) per MB of data. You don’t have to register or do anything; roaming charges will be automatically applied as you use the device.
Zone 1 Roaming The additional monthly charge of £1.70 (£1.97 inc VAT) includes all BlackBerry® data roaming usage in the UK, Channel Islands and Rep. of Ireland. This charge will apply whether you roam in Zone 1 or not during the month.* Global Roaming This additional monthly subscription of £21.28 (£24.47 inc VAT) will cover all BlackBerry® data roaming usage outside of the Isle of Man or not during the month.*
