THE TENNIS ASSOCIATION OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO welcomes
all participants, coaches, delegates and parents to the annual ITF Junior
Circuit Tennis Tournament.


We hope that you will enjoy your stay in Trinidad and look forward to all
the players producing top quality tennis and good sportsmanship.

Attached is some important information, which we hope you will find useful
to you. Should you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask any
official at the venues.

18 & UNDER BOYS AND GIRLS

SIGN IN FOR THE QUALIFYING DRAW WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE King
George V ON FRIDAY 19TH March 2010 BETWEEN 4.00 P.M. AND 6.00 P.M.

SIGN IN FOR ALL THE MAIN DRAW PLAYERS WILL TAKE PLACE AT KING
GEORGE V TENNIS VENUE ON SUNDAY 21st March BETWEEN 2.00 P.M. AND
4.00 P.M.

PLAY FOR MAIN DRAW SINGLES WILL START ON MONDAY22nd March
FOLLOWING THE OPENING CEREMONY AT 8.30 A.M. AT KING GEORGE V
TENNIS VENUE



14 & UNDER BOYS AND GIRLS

ALL PLAYERS MUST SIGN IN (EVEN IF THEY HAVE PUT IN AN ENTRY
FORM) AT THE KING GEORGE V VENUE ON FRIDAY 19TH MARCH 2010
BETWEEN 4.00 P.M. AND 6.00 P.M. FOLLOWING WHICH THE DRAW WILL BE
MADE. ALL MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED AT THE TRINIDAD COUNTRY
CLUB UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED.

                         NOTICE

The official OPENING CEREMONY will take place at the
KING GEORGE V TENNIS VENUE on Monday 22nd
March 2010 at 8.30 a.m. sharp.

All players are expected to attend, must wear their Tennis
Festival Tee Shirt and be present by 8.10 a.m.

All parents and coaches of the players, as well as friends,
are welcome to attend.

There will be a bus shuttle from the Ambassador and
Cascadia Hotels from 7.30 a.m. After the Ceremony at
9.00 a.m., there will be bus shuttles to the Trinidad Country
Club.

                             IMPORTANT RULES TO NOTE



PUNCTUALITY
Players shall be ready to play when their matches are called. Any player not ready to
play within fifteen (15) minutes after his/her match is called shall be defaulted unless the
Referee in his sole discretion, after consideration of all relevant circumstances, elects not
to declare a default.

(A PLAYER SHOULD BE ON SITE AT THE START OF THE MATCH PRECEDING
HIS/HER OWN OR OF THE FIRST MATCH OF THE DAY AT THE TIME
SPECIFIED BY THE REFEREE).

COACHES, PLAYERS REPRESENTATIVES AND RELATIVES
No coach, representatives or relative of a player may at any time conduct himself/herself
in a manner that will reflect unfavourably on the ITF, its tournaments, any player, official
or the game of tennis. Abusive conduct, including conduct directed towards any player,
tournament on court official or spectator, shall be considered a violation of the rule.

ATTIRE

All players shall dress and present themselves for play in a suitable manner. Clean and
customarily acceptable tennis attire shall be worn (Polo Shirt – NOT T-SHIRT.

DOUBLES TEAMS
Members of a doubles team shall be dressed in substantially identical attire.

LOGOS AND OTHER IDENTIFICATION ON CLOTHING
Players and their coaches are urged to check the limitations on identification on clothing
as stipulated in the Junior Circuit Regulations.

CODE VIOLATIONS
Players and their coaches are urged to study the various cases of code violations
according to the penalty schedule.

LEAVING THE COURT DURING PLAY
A Player shall not leave the court area during a match (including warm-up) without the
permission of the Umpire. A player who violates this may be defaulted by the Referee.
Once a player has entered the court, he/she may have supplemental equipment, food or
drink and clothing passed to him/her by the chair umpire only.
