ITF JUNIOR CIRCUIT 2010 NOTICE The official OPENING CEREMONY will take place at the KING GEORGE V TENNIS VENUE on Monday 22nd March 2010 at 8.30 a.m. sharp. All players are expected to attend, must wear their Tennis Festival Tee Shirt and be present by 8.10 a.m. All parents and coaches of the players, as well as friends, are welcome to attend. There will be a bus shuttle from the Ambassador and Cascadia Hotels from 7.30 a.m. After the Ceremony at 9.00 a.m., there will be bus shuttles to the Trinidad Country Club. ITF JUNIOR CIRCUIT – TRINIDAD IMPORTANT RULES TO NOTE PUNCTUALITY Players shall be ready to play when their matches are called. Any player not ready to play within fifteen (15) minutes after his/her match is called shall be defaulted unless the Referee in his sole discretion, after consideration of all relevant circumstances, elects not to declare a default. (A PLAYER SHOULD BE ON SITE AT THE START OF THE MATCH PRECEDING HIS/HER OWN OR OF THE FIRST MATCH OF THE DAY AT THE TIME SPECIFIED BY THE REFEREE). COACHES, PLAYERS REPRESENTATIVES AND RELATIVES No coach, representatives or relative of a player may at any time conduct himself/herself in a manner that will reflect unfavourably on the ITF, its tournaments, any player, official or the game of tennis. Abusive conduct, including conduct directed towards any player, tournament on court official or spectator, shall be considered a violation of the rule. ATTIRE All players shall dress and present themselves for play in a suitable manner. Clean and customarily acceptable tennis attire shall be worn (Polo Shirt – NOT T-SHIRT. DOUBLES TEAMS Members of a doubles team shall be dressed in substantially identical attire. LOGOS AND OTHER IDENTIFICATION ON CLOTHING Players and their coaches are urged to check the limitations on identification on clothing as stipulated in the Junior Circuit Regulations. CODE VIOLATIONS Players and their coaches are urged to study the various cases of code violations according to the penalty schedule. LEAVING THE COURT DURING PLAY A Player shall not leave the court area during a match (including warm-up) without the permission of the Umpire. A player who violates this may be defaulted by the Referee. Once a player has entered the court, he/she may have supplemental equipment, food or drink and clothing passed to him/her by the chair umpire only.
