"Class 8 [is] dependent on freight moving and volume. They don't care if it's pipe, concrete block or produce. They're just going to haul goods," he said. "But in the medium-duty sector, we're selling into a market that is specific to a good or service. These people don't own a truck to make a living; it's a secondary process to deliver their product to market."
