    OPENING EXHIBITION “JAPAN GOOD DESIGN” 
 

                  ABOUT THE EXHIBITION 
                   
                  Japan  Creative  Centre  is  happy  to  present  its  opening  event,  the  Japan  Good  Design 
                  Exhibition. Featured in this exhibition, rarely seen outside of Japan, are specially selected 
                  products  which  range  from  robots,  furniture,  electronic  goods  and  everyday  items  that 
                  have  been  conferred  the  G‐Mark  Good  Design  Award.  Nominees  for  this  award  are 
                  showcased in the Good Design Expo in Japan which attracts an annual average of 40,000 
                  visitors. It is exciting to see familiar items in a new light, and not‐so‐familiar items for the 
                  first time. Get inspired by the impact of design on the quality, enjoyment and appreciation 
                  of life! 
                   
                  This  exhibition  is  held  at  Japan  Creative  Centre,  which  has  been  specially  designed  to 
                  incorporate  current  Japanese  design  ideals,  creating  authentic  Japanese  experiences  for 
                  the visitor. Organised by Japan Creative Centre and co‐sponsored by Japan Foundation and 
                  JIDPO, this exhibition will provide an insightful look into the extraordinariness of Japanese 
                  design.
