HOTEL DIEU HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES
OF INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
(Kingston, ON) The Board of Directors of Hotel Dieu Hospital with the approval
of the Corporation announced today that Dr. David Pichora has been appointed
Interim Executive Director effective immediately. Hugh Graham will assist
during the transition and leading up to his full retirement effective March 1st,
Dr. Pichora completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Queen’s University
and fellowships in both Toronto and Birmingham. He has been on the medical
staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital since 1986. He has held the position of Chief of Staff
since July 2004, and also serves as Professor of Surgery at Queen’s University
and Divisional Chair of Orthopedic Surgery at Queen’s University, Hotel Dieu
Hospital and Kingston General Hospital. He will serve as both Interim Executive
Director and Chief of Staff for a short period of time until the Board has the
opportunity to appoint an interim Chief of Staff.
