2010 ANNUAL MEETING AND DINNER
MAY 7, 2010
The 2010 MLA Spring General Meeting will be held in the Great Hall of the Association of the Bar of the City
of New York, 42 West 44th Street, New York, New York, on May 7, 2010, commencing at 9:30 a.m.
The Annual Spring Dinner for members of the Maritime Law Association, and their guests, will be held Friday
evening, May 7, 2010, in Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers along the Hudson River at West 23 rd Street, New York City.
Complimentary shuttle buses will be provided between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to transport dinner attendees to Penn Station,
Port Authority and Grand Central Station (upon request).
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at a general reception in the Olympic Room and outdoor terrace (weather
permitting), at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be served in the Majestic, Oceanic and Aquitania Suites, at 7:45 p.m.
DRESS WILL BE BUSINESS ATTIRE
The charge for the Dinner, including cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, will be $170.00 per person.
Pier Sixty must be advised well in advance of the number of persons who will attend the Dinner, as well as their
entrée selection. Therefore, if you expect to attend, it is important that you act promptly to complete the enclosed
reservation form and send it, with your check payable (please note that the MLA does not accept credit cards) to The

Reservations will be made only when payment has been received. No refunds will be issued for cancellations
received after April 16, 2010. If members have a preference as to their dinner companions for this event, they are requested to
coordinate arrangements among themselves and to indicate their preference on the reservation form. Please note that ten
persons will be seated per table.
If you need to change any information provided in the reservation form, please direct such changes or additions,

Peak Performance has reserved a limited number of hotel rooms at the Flatotel in Midtown and the Best Western
Seaport Hotel from Monday, May 3 through Saturday, May 8. Reservations must be made by completing the enclosed hotel
reservation form and sending it to Peak Performance. Peak Performance will monitor the room blocks and confirm all
reservations. Hotel reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The reservations, while of a limited
number, are believed to be adequate for our needs, based on past history. You are urged to act promptly. If you contact the
hotel directly, you will not get the benefit of the reduced room rate. The cut-off date for room reservations under the MLA
block at both hotels is April 19, 2010.
