             Suwon Hwaseong Fortress :       Hwaseong (Brilliant Castle/ Fortress), the wall surrounding the centre
            of Suwon, the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, was built in the late eighteenth century by
            King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty to honour and house the remains of his father Prince Sado, who
            had been murdered by being locked alive inside a rice chest by his own father King Yeongjo having
            failed to obey his command to commit suicide. UNESCO designated the fortress a World Heritage site
            in 1997. The Suwoncheon, the main stream in Suwon, flows through the centre of the fortress.

           city. Visitors can view and purchase traditional ceramic arts and crafts in the exhibition hall.

           Cheongwadae(The blue House):
           This is the presidential residence of the Republic of Korea.         Tours of Cheonwadae have been
           conducted since 1998.
           Gyeongbokgung Palace:
           Built in 1394 as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty(1392-1910) by its founder King Taejo, it is
           the most comprehensive andgrandest of the five palace of the period. Gyeongbokgung, the oldest
           palace of the Joseon Dynasty, is located at the northern end of Seojong-ro Street. On its grounds
           stands the National Folk Museum of Korea, where visitors can brower the unique cultural and
           historical traits of Korea and the lifestyle of bygone days.
           National Folk Museum of Korea
           As the only national museum on folklore, it displays about 4,000 items on Korea’s traditional way of
           life. There are three permanent exhibition halls, two special exhibition halls, a shop and a reference
           room.

            Freedom Bridge:
            The only bridge crossing Imjin River and also the only one bridge between South and North Korea. The
            history says Since about 13,000 war captives crossed the bridge crying Hurrah for freedom, which gave
            bridge its name, “the bridge of freedom’. It was originally the Kyoungui railway bridge, and
            reconstructed to the road bridge later.
            The 3rd Tunnel:
            The North Korean Tunnel, one and half hours drive from Seoul, was designed to make a surprise attack
            on Seoul. The visit is a real eye-opening experience and it will leave you with a dramatic sense of the
            tremendous tragedy of separated families, the division of the peninsular and the hopes for tragedy of
            separated families, the division of the peninsular and hopes for reunification.
