Explanation of Transfer Codes Below is an alphabetical list (based on course letter designations) of every transferable Finger Lakes Community College course. In the second column, Keuka College equivalents are listed, where they exist. The transfer codes in the third column identify courses that transfer either as general education credits in Keuka’s traditional or transfer core curriculum or as general elective credits. In most instances, courses without a code fulfill matriculation requirements or electives in at least one major program at Keuka. Students should consult the major worksheets provided for details on how these courses apply to specific Keuka programs of study. Core = course fulfills a traditional core curriculum requirement (applies to students transferring 24 or fewer credits). HC = course fulfills a requirement in the humanities bundle of the transfer core (for students transferring 25 or more credits) SS = course fulfills a requirement in the social sciences bundle of the transfer core NSM = course fulfills a requirement in the natural sciences/mathematics bundle of the transfer core GE = indicates a course that is transferable only as a general elective Any transferable course may also count as a general elective if not already applied toward the core or a major program requirement.
