This practical masterclass will give participants the opportunity to create an overall styled image on models assigned to the group. They will also be taught the difference between commercial and editorial styling. The roles and functions of makeup artistes, stylists, models, artistic director and their impact on a photo shoot will be explained. This workshop offers an introduction to catwalk show production and is suitable for fashion students, designers and micro fashion businesses. The workshop will offer an overview of the many aspects of catwalk show production including, budget planning, model casting and selection, brief interpretation, running order and liaising with key personnel. This practical workshop will be held in an actual catwalk show set and will afford participants hands-on experience in show production. TOTAL NUMBER OF WORKSHOPS: 1 TIME: 9.00-10.00 FMK/W1008 – MAKEUP FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY: The different faces of beauty in the fashion industry. Facilitated by renowned professional makeup artiste with vast experience in Nigeria and internationally and a portfolio as diverse as any, this workshop promises to be highly exciting and informative. Area to be covered will include beauty makeup images from current editorials and advertising, catwalk makeup, beauty imagery for promotional impact. .
