					The Bible as Literature: The Book of Job
In the Book of Job, the main character suffers a number of terrible pains yet he never wavers in his
devotion to God, though his friends and family question his beliefs. The book challenges the reader
to examine his/her belief in the nature of evil in a world created by an all powerful and good God.
