Service Summary

Real Estate Due Diligence (Phase I, II and Clean-up Management)
TGE is a leader and national provider of quality environmental due diligence services which may be
performed prior to mortgage financing, foreclosure, purchase or re-development of real estate. TGE
has conducted nationwide and regional environmental due diligence work for many of the more ac-
tive parties in this market, and has been involved in numerous highly visible real estate transactions
throughout major metropolitan areas of the U.S.

Industrial Hygiene (Asbestos, Mold and Bacterial)
As an active participant in industrial hygiene consulting, TGE has built a strong reputation as a qual-
ity asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and indoor air (sick building) consultant. Within the regulated
community, the healthcare industry and the public sector, TGE offers licensing as an Asbestos
Agency and an Asbestos Laboratory. TGE also holds licensing in Alabama, Florida and Colorado.
TGE is a leader in assessment and corrective action consulting related to mold within the “built envi-
ronment” and conducts many high profile projects related to mold in the southeastern U.S. TGE also
conducts all elements of lead assessment and contractor supervision during abatement.

 Mold Consulting Services
As an early leader and niche provider in the indoor air quality and bioaerosol consulting field, TGE
has established its reputation as a reliable and proficient resource for the healthcare, pharmaceuti-
cal, and research industries. Given recent heightened awareness of “mold” within commercial struc-
tures, schools, aged buildings and structures throughout not only the south but across the U.S. that
have succumbed to flood damage, TGE has seamlessly transitioned its knowledge base and con-
veyed its expertise to assist all such sectors and has become a sough after leader in mold consulting
and industrial hygiene of the built environment.

 Petroleum Storage Tank Management
TGE has extensive experience in Petroleum Storage Tank (PST) Management within the retail in-
dustry and the industrial and commercial regulated community. Services provided include compli-
ance consulting, corrective action project management (site characterization/testing), tank system
upgrade (retrofit) management, and closure/removal consulting. TGE has performed more than 250
petroleum storage tank projects designed to maintain compliance with various state and federally-
mandated programs. Typical PST projects have included comprehensive portfolio assessment prior
to purchase/divestiture as well as single property remediation/corrective action.

Environmental Compliance & Hazardous Materials Management
Knowledge and depth of experience within critical areas of Environmental Compliance and
Hazardous Materials Management has enabled TGE to offer superior depth of services to it clients
while conducting other critical efforts within operating industrial facilities and the regulated
community. TGE routinely provides such services to industrial operators within the chemical/
petrochemical industry, the commercial industry (dry cleaners, oil field supply companies, plating
companies, foundries and steel mills to name a few), as well as within abandoned “brownfield” re-
development tracts which require management of “abandoned” waste.

Oil & Gas (E&P) Assessment, Characterization & Remediation Consulting
The oil and gas exploration and production industry is associated with unique environmental
challenges that draw upon TGE’s strengths of assessment, environmental characterization and
corrective action/clean-up.
Oilfield assessment and
clean-up consulting
requires knowledge and
expertise that is regionally
and locally specific. TGE
m aintains staff and
equipment to conduct
necessary elements of oil and gas exploration and production environmental consulting; including pit
closures, sludge management, environmental compliance, and corrective action as necessary.

NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) and Oilfield Waste Characterization and
Management
The oil and gas industry is associated with unique environmental challenges which draw upon
essentially all of TGE’s strengths of assessment, environmental characterization and corrective
action/cleanup. NORM challenges (historic and current) necessitate the availability of staff trained in
radiation safety and contractor’s supervision. Oilfield review and clean-up consulting requires
knowledge and expertise which is “regionally specific” and locally regulated. TGE maintains staff
and equipment to conduct all elements of NORM and Oilfield Waste Management.

Risk-Based Closure/Remediation Consulting
For those sites/facilities which have been associated with “recognized environmental conditions”,
and have been determined by testing to be impacted with chemicals/constituents which are
“regulated” under certain state and/or federal programs, TGE offers its clients a strong depth of
service designed to manage these sites to clean-up or administrative closure. This work requires a
firm grasp of administrative/legislative program requirements which are constantly changing; as well
as knowledge of hydrology/hydrogeology, engineering technology, process design, computer-base
modeling and remediation technologies.
