Job Posting – Entry Level Web Developer (ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, SQL) Description: Driving Force works primarily in the Automotive Industry on SQL Server data-driven websites written on the .NET platform. We're a small company that favors a breadth of knowledge to specialization. You should enjoy performing a wide variety of software development tasks, working with customers on real-world problems, thinking quickly on your feet, adopting new technologies, and frequently learning new skills. You should be familiar with modern software development practices and methodologies (e.g. N-Tier Architecture, ModelView-Controller (MVC), ASP Dynamic Data, AJAX, Unit Testing, and Agile Development). In addition you will be involved in strategic and tactical planning regarding the creation and enhancement of the applications developed. This is a full time position. Responsibilities:

Participation in all aspects of the software development life cycle (design, implement, test, document, and deploy) Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation, and deliverables Learn and evaluate new technologies/tools as needed Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards Lead and/or participate in peer code reviews Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce functional and technical specifications

Elegant code organization demonstrating thorough, thoughtful exception/error handling Previous experience with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and/or LINQ Previous experience with SQL Server and T-SQL programming Familiarity with JSON or XML and Web Services Strong client side skills including W3C compliant XHTML and CSS Experience with development best practices such as unit testing and source control B.S. or B.A., preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
