                                          REFUND POLICY
While there has not been a rain-out in the 24 prior AFFs, we guarantee that should the full event be canceled
due to weather, we will refund at least 75% of your application fee. In the event of a partial cancellation, we will
refund all budgeted expenses that were not incurred. We do not believe a tournament should make more
money by canceling games than they would have made if those games had been held.

                                                October 16-18, 2009
The Sullivan County Soccer Association and Holston Valley Futbol Club invite you to apply to participate in the
Appalachian Fall Festival in Kingsport, TN on October 16-18.
        Tournament is for Travel/Competitive Teams. Recreation teams are not accepted.
        Approximately 80 teams participate from 6 states.
        Games to be held at the Eastman Park at Horse Creek Soccer Complex, and Domtar Park.
        Sanctioned by Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA).
        All teams must be properly registered with their USYSA or USSF affiliated state organizations.
        Three (3) guest players are allowed

FORMAT:
        U9 & U10 play 6v6, U11 & U12 play 8v8, U13 – U18 play 11v11
        Each team guaranteed three (3) matches on Saturday and Sunday
        Championship games played on Sunday
        Groups with five(5) teams will play a round robin (Four(4) games)
        We reserve the right to combine age groups if necessary
        We reserve the right to make changes as needed to provide a safe environment for all players.

        THREE(3) Guest players allowed

        Club Discount – Save $25 per team in your club/association if sending 5 teams or more. Registrations must be

        Registration will be held at the Quality Inn & Conference Center - 1900 American Way, Kingsport, TN 37660 on

        SATURDAY REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE 1.5 HOURS PRIOR TO FIRST SCHEDULED GAME

Acceptance letters will not be mailed. Please check out website for a list of accepted teams, permission to host, field

REFEREES
We welcome qualified referees to apply to officiate at our tournament. If you have anyone available
to referee who will be traveling with your team, please have him/her fill out the referee application on
our tournament website. They may also contact Tim Mallinak directly by calling 423-288-5030.
As the representative for my team I understand that my team must present all required documentation at the
registration on either October 16th or October 17th. I will abide by the Appalachian Fall Festival Rules located
on the website. I will submit payment with my application and I understand that the tournament has a no
refund policy for teams that withdraw without giving notification before September 18, 2009.
