ENTRY FEE: $145.00per team.
CLOSING DATE: Entries must be received by FRIDAY 4TH September 2009

For grade 3 & 4 Girls and Boys and Grade 5 & 6 Girls and Boys.
Depending on number of teams entering, we may have:
1: Two divisions in each group
2: Games may be required to be played on Friday night
3: More than one venue may be required
Grades 3 & 4 players may play up with grades 5 & 6, but no player is allowed to play in more than
one team for the weekend.
Grade 2 players may play up with grade 3 &4.
Grade 5 & 6 players cannot play in grade 3 & 4 teams.
Combined School teams can only enter in B division, the organising committee needs to be notified
of these teams prior to entry being received.

COACHES CANNOT COACH AND UMPIRE AT THE SAME TIME.
UMPIRES CANNOT UMPIRE AND COACH AT THE SAME TIME.

There is no restriction on the number of games a player needs to play to qualify for the finals.
Each team must supply and pay own referee and a bench person, for each game.
The referee each team supplies will not receive numeration from the organising committee, except those
referees selected by the Committee to umpire Grand Final games.

ENTRIES CLOSE ON FRIDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER 2009. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED. ENTRY FEE OF $145.00 MUST ACCOMPANY ALL ENTRIES
Preferred payment is by cheque made out to Devils Basketball club. If you require a Tax Invoice to make
Payment please contact Belinda

The top two teams in A division will win the right to represent the NORTH at the TASMANIAN STATE
PRIMARY SCHOOL CHAMPIONSIPS 21ST & 22ND NOVEMBER in HOBART.

Teams are required to enter in the division appropriate to their ability. If you are fielding a team that has
TWO OR MORE players whom play A GRADE in an Association or local roster the team is
required to enter A GRADE.

The aim of the B grade competition is to give children who do not necessarily play basketball an
opportunity to give basketball a go.
Teams will be regraded if the committee feels that the team entered is incorrectly graded. The team that
has been written on the original entry form is the team that the committee will be guided by, if teams are
changed after the entry is submitted, it is up to the Coach or Team Manager to notify organising
committee.

The committee reserves the right to make any changes necessary to ensure the smooth running of the
tournament.

The Devils Basketball Committee’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
