Tax Executive Institute (TEI) is a voluntary, non-profit association of corporate and other business executives, managers, and administrators who are responsible for the tax affairs of their employers. In May 2007, TEI attended a stakeholders meeting in Washington, DC sponsored by National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL) on a possible revision of Uniform Division of Income for Tax Purposes Act (UDITPA). Consistent with NCCUSL's own criteria, the probability of success must be fully considered before proposing or considering model acts. TEI recommends that NCCUSL suspend its effort to revise UDITPA until after such a review.
