As Senior Vice President of Business Development in Canada, Tony is the driving force behind
     Crescent’s growth in that country.

In addition to jointly venturing with Crescent in Canada, Tony is President & CEO of Global Edge
Investments (GEI), a hospitality and lifestyle based investment company he founded in 1998.

Global Edge has a range of investments in the hospitality industry, ranging from restaurants and
hotels to online hospitality sites. Tony is an active partner in all of GEI’s investments, overseeing
management for most of his businesses. His continued success in the hospitality business stems
from a long-held passion for customer satisfaction and drive to provide the best service.

In 2003, Tony opened the successful Hotel Le Germain Toronto, in which he partnered with
Groupe Germain, Quebec City-based boutique hoteliers recently voted one of the 50 best-
managed Canadian companies for the third year in a row. At present, GEI, partnered with Freed
Developments, is in the process of opening the new Thompson Toronto Hotel, which will be
operated by the rapidly-expanding, NYC-based Thompson Group. Global Edge has also taken an
active role in the launch of Wahanda.com, a spa & wellness resource guide, booking engine, and
online community based in London, England.

Tony attended the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. After graduating, he honed
his skills by opening over 40 restaurants for a large Canadian company and implementing
management and training programs, as well as working in various hospitality positions.

Outside of the business world, Tony is actively involved in the community. Together with his
wife, he founded the Tora Foundation, which fosters a deeper understanding of Judaism and
culture as well as encouraging youth education in Canada. He also serves on the Board of
Trustees of the Ontario Science Centre, as well as the Board of Governors of the Canadian Israel
     Chamber of Commerce.

Tony lives in Toronto with his wife, Moira.
