Soundwell is a community based music therapy service that aims to enhance the wellbeing
of people with severe mental health needs, through music therapy.
Some feedback from Soundwell’s participants:
‘I’m sure Music Therapy has been an important factor in my recovery from my recent illness’
‘I am able to work and communicate within a team and also I am able to actively listen to
others. This I believe was developed through attending the group. Music was an important
tool in this development’.
Thank you for your support
Soundwell is a registered charitable trust funded entirely by grants and voluntary donations.
We need to raise at least £75,000 every year to continue to provide the service. We would
like to express our thanks to Westonbirt School and to all those supporting and attending the
event. Every ticket bought makes a big difference and goes towards running one-off
workshops, weekly groups or individual sessions that provide a valuable space for people to
be supported and recover.
