BUILDING YOUR OWN DRUM WITH RON CROSS
Children ages 10 to 18 (however, if you feel that this program would be a good fit for your child and they do
not meet these age parameters, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org)
This program will offer both djambe drumming with instructor Ron Cross, as well as the hands-on experience of
making your own drum. Children enrolled in this program should be interested in making their own drum. They
must be able to work with their hands (they will be sanding, gluing, mailing, decorating, making mallets, using a
hot glue gun, etc.) Support will be provided in creating the drums but the children must have some degree of inde-
pendence to be successful in this program.
Instructor Ron Cross works with school groups, teens and adults running various programs, including yoga and
dance. For more information about Ron Cross and his programs, visit his website: www.randomactsofrhythm.com.
