To help nip your fears in the bud, we've scoped out a handful of cheer helpers-a hypnotist, a sports psychologist and a yoga instructor, plus a bunch of coaches and cheerleaders who've had the same problems you might have. In fact, the American Medical Association (AMA) has accepted hypnotherapy as a form of therapy since the 1950s, and cheerleaders are now signing up to kick everything from stagefright to the fear of performing difficult skills.
