FLORIDA Speaker Bureau programs scheduled throughout the state include nature photographer John Moran presenting the slide show "Journal of Light: A Photographer's Search for the Soul of Florida" on Jan. 14 at the Boynton Beach City Library, Jan. 30 at the Museum of Art and Culture in Avon Park, and Feb. 8 at the Okeechobee County Public Library. On Feb. 7, historian Gary Sprayberry discusses the Civil Rights Movement in Columbus at the Liberty Theatre, and on Feb. 9, a Civil War tour of Columbus starts at the steps of the city's library. Events feature the American Spiritual Ensemble; the Lexington Philharmonic performing Copeland's Lincoln Portrait; an act from a new Kentucky opera, River of Time; and an excerpt from Wade Hall's drama, One Man's Lincoln, performed by the Kentucky Repertory Theatre.\n 22-24 in Columbia and features discussions, readings, book signings, master classes, and children's activities.
