While it seems like the use of color has been around forever, it is actually a relatively recent development, but one that has taken center stage very quickly-as color usually does. The world was largely black-and-white just a few decades ago. Movies, television, photographs, newspapers, and all but the most expensive books were all monochrome. Today, black-and-white television sets, movies, or photographs are specialty items.
