Hundreds of Commercial Finance Association (CFA) member firms' staff took advantage of the unique professional development opportunities available only from CFA's educational programs during 2007. Courses addressed a variety of industry disciplines for entry-level staff through senior management. Participants enriched their careers not only from the quality curricula and instruction, but from interacting with their peers from firms large and small. A new program titled Asset-Based Lending and Factoring Basics for Business Development Staff was launched during 2007. The new International Asset-Based Lending Workshop was also introduced in 2007. Another successful CFA Leadership Institute was offered during 2007. Teleconference seminars continued to provide convenient, inexpensive learning opportunities to member organizations during 2007. The success of CFA's education programs would not be possible without the voluntary efforts of the dedicated industry professionals, such as Steven R. Keyser, SVP, LaSalle Business Credit LLC, who serve on the instructional faculty.
