The Terrorism Knowledge Base (TKB) was created from databases and print sources of several intelligence agencies and other government departments, certainly not the dream job of a systems analyst. The integrated knowledgebase has six major sections with different access options. TKB presents its information with the same sophistication and elegance that characterizes the whole site. The records are not only informative in and of themselves, but also provide further links. The International Security & Counter-terrorism Reference Center is database of 2.3 million indexing/abstracting/full-text records is compiled by EBSCO and is made freely available courtesy of MIPT. Articles make up the largest component of the database, with magazine and newspaper articles in the lead with nearly 600,000 items. With this sorry performance, it proudly advertises the ASIS&T Digital Library. Its citation tracking module still shows signs of Alzheimer's disease by not recognizing cited references in its collection.
