Fred Sitkins, a professor of manufacturing engineering at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI, grew up on Kelley's Island. Out in the yard by his childhood home, time had brought a Ford Model T and a Model A to a halt. That is where Sitkins got his very first itch to restore an old automobile. Sitkins didn't really get serious about automobile restoration until he was a freshman in college. That is when he restored a 1932 Ford 3 Window coupe, which his nephew enters in auto shows in Florida.
