    Dear PBA Members:

    We invite you and your family to “come away with the PBA” for relaxation, adventure, networking
    and professional development during the PBA Midyear Meeting, Jan. 20 – 24, at the fabulous Atlantis
    resort in the sunny Bahamas.

    For mythology buffs, the resort’s area known as “The Dig” offers a chance to learn more about
    the legendary lost continent of Atlantis. You’ll have the chance to explore a maze of recreated
    archeological ruins and excavations or to wander through cavernous streets beneath the ocean and
    marvel at the 263 different species of sea animals in 34 acres of waterscape.

    If excitement is your goal, the resort’s new Aquaventure, a 63-acre water-themed attraction, is your
    ticket to thrills galore with its lightning-speed water slides, intense river rapids and ocean-like waves.
    Another new attraction, Dolphin Cay, provides the young and young-at-heart with the opportunity to
    frolic with friendly dolphins in shallow or deep water.

    If athletic competition and celebrity-watching are on your agenda, the Ninth Annual Michael Jordan
    Celebrity Invitational golf tournament will be held at the Ocean Club Golf Course during the week
    of the PBA Midyear Meeting. “Be like Mike” and play a few rounds of golf at nearby Cable Beach
    Golf Club, or enjoy the outstanding tennis, rock climbing or other sporting facilities available at the
    Atlantis.

    If you seek pure and simple relaxation, unwind on cool lazy evenings and hot sunny afternoons at the

    Of course, the PBA again will present 9.5 credits of Continuing Legal Education programming
    with expert faculty to assist with your professional development. You also will be able to network
    with colleagues at the PBA’s “Bahamian Barbecue” Welcome Dinner on Wednesday evening and at
    Saturday’s “Blue Lagoon” Farewell Dinner.
