Policy # 18 SEMINARY DEBT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM A Program of the Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Helping first call ministers serve small churches. The Presbytery of Greater Atlanta as a presbytery of call has delineated the following policy on candidate indebtedness. 1. Applicants must be a graduate of one of the following seminaries: Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary Columbia Theological Seminary University of Dubuque Theological Seminary Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary McCormick Theological Seminary Pittsburgh Theological Seminary Princeton Theological Seminary San Francisco Theological Seminary Union Theological Seminary & Presbyterian School of Christian Education (Virginia) Auburn Theological Seminary The Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico Applicants must attend a one-day Financial Planning Seminar (Fiscal Fitness Workshop) offered by the Board of Pensions at a seminary or presbytery. Applicants must be serving as a full time, first call Minister of Word and Sacrament to a church of less than 150 members with a budget of less than $100,000. Applicants will fill out the application form and submit it to the presbytery through the Committee on Ministry. The COM will work with small churches to implement this program.
