CABLE TV / TELEPHONES
Cable TV Boxes, remotes and cables are inventoried as part of the Room Inventory Form. All cable
TV parts must remain in your room.
CABLE TV: (Direct TV)
SANTA CLARA / CANISIUS / Lemoyne / Coffey residents only
If missing a remote, cable or power adapter please call the call center x44444 or 773 508 7190.
If missing a digital cable box, please contact the call center at x44444 or 773 508 7190.
Tune your television to channel 3 or 4. Tune the DIRECTV receiver to channel 202 to confirm the service has been
activated. If you are not receiving programming or have any questions about the hook up please call USA Wireless at
(847) 831-4561 or (800) 433-4558. If you experience any signal issues after business hours call (800) 433-4558 and
press option 6 to be transferred to a live operator.
CABLE TV: (Comcast)
All other residence halls:
If missing a remote, cable or power adapter, you can pick one up in Granada 260 between the hours of 9AM and 2PM
Monday through Friday.
If missing a cable box, please contact the call center at x44444 or 773 508 7190.
Make sure you have your Cable box and cables setup according to the following:
If you are receiving an error message such as 'one moment please' or 'not authorized' or receive only a black screen, you
will need to contact Comcast directly. Comcast will need to look up your account by the address and room number, not
the account number/telephone number. If they state they cannot do this, please ask for a supervisor. There have been
reports that not all the call center personnel are aware of the proper process.

Press Option 1, 1, 2 and enter your phone number when prompted, select 1 to confirm phone number.
Next, select Option 1, then Option 1 again for Cable TV. You should now be directed to a live Comcast representative
and you will need to provide the error message or problem you are experiencing.

Technology Support Center:
