Arrival: 01 August 2007
  POV: 1300-1500, BLDG 6542, C/2-46.
  AIR: NLT 1730 @ USO Louisville, KY Airport.
  Airport Drop Off: 1200-1500 @ USO Louisville, KY Airport.
  NOTE: Any LATE arrivals other than plane delays will be
  dropped from the course

 DAY 0-12:
    DAY 0: First formation approx. 0430
    Day 12: Release after Graduation approx 1200 hrs.

               School Mission

Train ROTC cadets in the fundamentals of Air
Assault Operations at Fort Knox, KY from 02
August – 12 August 2007.

                Cadre Mission
Provide administrative and logistical support to
the Mobile Training Teams through
communication and coordination of resources
and to assist students in meeting Air Assault
Standards.

• DO NOT plan to return to HOR until after graduation.
               ZERO DAY
• Inspection of Zero Day Equipment, O-Course, 2-
Mile Run (Full equipment inspection on Day 1)

• O Course
   •2 Mandatory Obstacles = Tough One and
   Confidence Climb.
   •Must pass 6/7 Minor Obstacles.
   •Two attempts at each obstacle.

• 2 Mile Run: 18 Minutes
              EQUIPMENT
• Packing list provided (see USCC Eastern
Region website link)

• CLEAN, DX or BUY your equipment NOW!!!!

• No negotiations on the packing list. You will be
dropped from the course if you don’t have
everything on the packing list.

• Clean, serviceable, ARMY ISSUE.
               PREPARATION
• Get in the best shape possible. It only makes it easier.

• Practice climbing a rope - often. You will not pass Zero
Day if you can’t climb rope.

• Get your equipment ready. DO NOT expect the
OIC/Cadre to provide you equipment if you’re missing any
or if yours doesn’t meet the standard.

• Foot March-You represent the Academy!

• Mental Preparation / Attitude

• Remember: you’ll only get ONE SHOT at it this
summer! Your chance of re-cycling is ZERO!
              Helpful Hints
• Hydration
• Proper nutrition/Supplements
• Get your equipment clean and serviceable
• Use ONLY Army-issue equipment
• FOCUS on Air Assault School for 11 Days
• ID tags must match ID card
• In-process with a current PT Test
• Study during the course
• Don’t stress over the A-22 Cargo Bag
• Follow directions
• Do not argue with the Black Shirts- You will be
dropped from the course “No Questions Asked”
