I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I
give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.
1 Samuel 1:27 – 28 “
We will be having a baby dedication on Sunday, May 9th, during the 9:00am, 10:50am
and 5:15pm services. A baby dedication is a special service where parents may
publicly express their desire and commitment to raise their child(ren) according to the
Bible. The Bible teaches us that children are a gift from the Lord. When you choose
to dedicate your child to God, you are acknowledging that your child came from the
Lord. You are publicly pledging to model and teach God’s Word to your child. Baby
dedication is not a baptism, we do not baptize babies.
At the beginning of each service, we will be setting aside time to dedicate your
child(ren). We will need a picture of your child or your family to be shown while
you are introduced to the congregation. A digital picture should be sent to
email@example.com by May 2nd. After each family has been introduced, Pastor Buddy will
speak to the parents and then to the congregation. After this, we will ask the families
to walk out through the aisles so that the congregation can lay their hands on each
family and pray for them.
Please fill out the attached registration form and return it to Melanie by Sunday, May
