Information Technology Internship – Part-time

Scope of Responsibilities: • • • • • • Will report to the Manager of Help Desk Team Provides assistance with processing requests, generating reports and completing other administrative tasks as assigned for the Help Desk Responsible for maintaining weekly application/system on-call sheets Assist in setting up conference bridges Validate requests for access to systems May generate weekly statistical reports
Education and Experience: • • • Currently enrolled as a full-time student and will be a Junior or Senior by Fall 2008 Preferred majors include: Information Technology, Data Systems, Computer Systems Technolgy or related majors Available for Summer 2008
Required Skills: • • Strong usability of Excel and Access. Strong analytical skills
Preferred Skills: • • • • • Ability to interface will with all levels of the organization Desktop/laptop computer hardware – basic proficiency Experience managing projects and proofreading and editing Deadline oriented customer service experience
