                                           EVENT RECAPS
Tuesday, April 20th marked the ribbon cutting of new member Pushing7, a marketing firm that specializes in website
design & development, logo design, brochures & ad designs. The business is located at 6300 Enterprise Lane in
Madison, WI, but rep Emmy Thorson-Hanson lives in Rockton and designer Molly Butz lives here in Roscoe, and both
women work from home most of the time.
They often get asked how they came up with the name Pushing7, so here’s the scoop: American Philosopher

Ron Montgomery, owner of Montgomery Financial Services, LLC, became a new member in March and
celebrated by holding his ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 27. His office is located at 5512 Clayton Circle
(between Rusty Putter and the No. Suburban Library).

Ron grew up in Beloit and has been a Roscoe resident for the past 7 years with his wife Ann and son Cole. He
has been in the ‘business’ for the last 10 years and just decided to go independent in February of this year.

 The Rockton Inn was the location of the Business After Hours event on Thursday, April 22nd. Owners and hosts
 Tamara & Pascal Cornieux welcomed us on the third floor of their distinctive restaurant with lots of delicious appetizers
 and drinks. Music from a live band on the first floor wafted up to entertained us as well.

Rockton: On Sunday, May 2, members of the Rockton Firemen’s Association and other volunteers will be taking delivery of a set of NHL sized
hockey rink board at Settler’s Park in Rockton. The rink will be set up to assess the desired size and associated cost of building a community
hockey rink. The rink will be used for in-line hockey in the warmer months, then be flooded and used as an ice rink in the winter. For additional
