The Northville Downtown Development Authority is looking for 2 enthusiastic, energetic people
to fill 2 positions for seasonal maintenance. Duties will include, but are not limited to, daily
watering of plants, weeding, mulching beds, sweeping, and general Town Square maintenance
in an effort to keep Downtown Northville looking its best. Daily watering of planters requires the
use of a City-owned Ranger pick-up truck equipped with a water tank. This person will report
directly to the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and must have a valid driver’s license.
This position is suitable for anyone who is self motivated and loves to work outside rain or shine.
Anyone who enjoys gardening would be ideally suited for this position. Seasonal maintenance
help is needed immediately and through the end of the fall season. A pre-employment physical
exam, paid for by the DDA, is required at a facility selected by the City.
2 positions are available to work
• 40 hours/week now through October 2010
• 20 hours/week now through October 2010
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm with a ½ hour, unpaid, lunch break
Hourly Rate $10
