Planning for the 2010 season is underway. The Baseball Commission thanks all
participants for a successful 2009 Season.

A meeting for all District Baseball Chairmen and Team Managers has been set for
Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Post 5 in Jefferson City, 1:00 PM. There is a lot of
information we need to communicate for the upcoming year, the biggest issue being
implementation of online team registration. This is a major change to past processes, and
it is very important that representatives be in attendance. Please plan on attending.

GENERAL INFORMATION

2010 Team Entry Fees – A - $150.00 AA - $150.00 AAA - $200.00 ( Fees have
increased, as directed by National. This will be explained at the meeting.)

Entry Fees and Insurance Premiums will be paid online. A credit card will be required,
part of the new online process. Explanation at meeting.

Teams interested in hosting the AA State Tournament or a AAA Zone Tournament must
submit a request along with a $300 check to the Department Chairman no later than
January 10, 2010. Make check payable to: American Legion Department of Missouri
Baseball. If your bid is not selected, the check will be returned. Host requirements may
be found online at missouriamericanlegionbaseball.com, or in the back of the 2009
Missouri Rulebook.

If you have any issues for Commission consideration, please submit to the Department
Chairman in writing or via email no later than January 10, 2010.

A State Tournament – July 15 – 17
AA Zone Tournaments – July 15 – 17
AA State Tournament – July 22 – 24
AA Regional Tournament – July 29 – August 1
AAA District Tournaments – completed by July 22
AAA Zone Tournaments – completed by July 26
AAA State Tournament – July 29 – 31

AAA State Tournament will be held at Liberty Park in Sedalia, Mo. All other sites TBA
