The company, which is wholly-owned by the Swedish government, operates a number of power stations in various countries. Nuclear and hydroelectric power account for a large proportion of Vattenfall’s electricity production in Sweden, while the company primarily uses coal power in Germany and Poland. Vattenfall also has production in Finland and Estonia.
