The Board of Education shall encourage parent conferences at any reasonable time
concerning the needs and progress of a student. It is essential that an objective overview of
strengths and weaknesses be discussed with the parent(s) along with samples of the student's
work, if possible. Parents are encouraged to discuss with the teacher any questions or problems
which may affect the child's performance.
Parent conferences shall be scheduled at times when teachers are not engaged in
classroom instruction, whenever possible.
