Registrars report CG can appoint inspectors to report or on
members application - by 200 members or members holding 1/10th
of voting rights in a Co. with share capital and 1/5th of members in a
Co. without share capital. Reasons: Affairs ought to be
investigated, unsatisfactory state of affairs.
Investigation in other cases: Company may request by special
resolution or on the order of the Court. In case of fraud oppression
or illegality etc. The inspectors so appointed can examine the
officers, books of accounts, require any body corporate to give

of the shares of a Co. concealed by vested interest.
3) INVESTIGATION OF SHARES AND DEBENTURE DEALINGS:
To find out relevant facts – change in the composition of Board of
directors, transfer of shares prejudicial to public interest.
