STUDY TOOLS AND TERMINOLOGY FOR SCHOOL FACILITY UTILIZATION
The attached Study Tools have been developed to assist in the Community Engagement and Decision Making Process. The Study Tools contain…. 1. Matrix of school site characteristics o This matrix contains a variety of information pertaining to each district school / site. It is a work in progress and information is being updated / verified routinely. o At the end of the document is a list of supplemental information explaining some of the terms and data contained in the document. o The document is separated by study area. Each study area is made up of several elementary school attendance areas. All district owned facilities within a given study area are listed. 2. Distance (Mileage) Between Schools o A matrix of the distance between each school within a given study area is provided for your convenience. 3. Bus Transportation Matrix o This report provides the number of students that are bused out of an elementary school due to the lack of available classroom space at a particular grade level. The report provided that count of students being sent from a school as well as the number being received. 4. Study Area School Maps o These maps are designed to simply provide a graphical reference of the study area. Specific attendance area information should be referenced on the District’s website at: http://www.scusd.edu/operations_support/Attendance_Area.htm
