1. Introduction
   This status report addresses the performance of the SORCE spacecraft, instruments,
   and ground assets during the week of Thursday, June 12, through Wednesday, June 18,
   2008.


2. Spacecraft Summary          (submitted by Deb McCabe, 19 June)

   On DOY 149 there was TMON 42 limit violation for one sample. This appears to be due to
   nominal battery degradation. Short term, the TMON limits will be changed so the associated
   TMONs do not trip. The TMON trip thresholds were set conservatively at launch. Long term
   solution is being developed.

   On AGO 29221 a GCI error (PM_ENABLED = DISABLED) was detected. The post mortem buffer
   was dumped and post mortem logging re-enabled per standing SOACR 260. The fault was due to a
   read zero of the PCI I/O command buffer start pointer

   There were four MU Read 0 events reported during the past week.

Since December 2005, the Planning and Scheduling group activates XPS for a continuous 1-min
integration at filter wheel position 6 (0.1-18 nm range) and only plans a monthly calibration
experiment.

6. Data Processing Summary

TIM (submitted by Doug Lindholm, 5 June 2008)
   • Status
         o Version 8 TSI data have been released and are available on LISIRD and the
             SORCE web site.
         o Normal routine daily processing of version 8 data is ongoing.
         o TIM TSI data daily delivery to the Goddard Earth Sciences DISC has been put on
             hold while a new data format is being implemented for version 8 data products.
             The version 7 data products are available but not being updated.
   • Work in progress
         o Planning for version 9.
         o Code modifications (generalizations) to support Glory TIM data processing.
   • Future Plans


SOLSTICE (submitted by Doug Lindholm, 29 May 2008)
  • Status
        o Routine data processing is routinely producing version 9 level 3 FUV and
           MUV SOLSTICE data products. These are available on the SORCE web site
           and LISIRD.
        o MgII index is being produced routinely and is available on the SORCE web
           site.
  • Work in Progress
        o Filter experiment analysis to Improve dead time correction and filter
           transmission.
        o Improvement of alignment analysis from cruciform scans.
        o Porting to new hardware.
        o Update of the degradation calibrations.
  • Future Plans
        o Analysis of instrument misalignment calibration.
        o Analysis of level 3 uncertainties.
        o Jan 2006 slit anomaly correction.

        o Version 15 data products are being processed daily.
