CRYP-202: Public Key Encryption with
Special Properties
Rune Thorbek, Aarhus University, PhD Student
Yevgeniy Vahlis, University of Toronto, PhD Student
Jian Weng, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, PhD Student
This session presents public key encryption schemes with special properties. The first two
talks introduce identity-based encryption with threshold key-insulation and CCA2 security,
while the last talk introduces the first protocols for public key encryption with non-interactive
opening that are not based on identity-based encryption.
Topic 1: Identity-Based Threshold Key-Insulated Encryption without Random Oracles
Topic 2: CCA2 Secure IBE: Standard Model Efficiency through Authenticated Symmetric
Encryption
Topic 3: Public-Key Encryption with Non-Interactive Opening
