     Sunday 9 - 14 August 2009
Fully inclusive cost £2950 per person. Book before January 31st and receive a £50 discount.

The world famous Rolex Fastnet Race is like no other yacht race. Up to 300 yachts will be
contending for class distinction and each crew member will gain the satisfaction of knowing that they
have successfully competed in one of the world’s greatest offshore challenges.

The Fastnet is open to anyone who has the necessary sailing skills to face the trials the Fastnet will
offer. Whilst the challenges can not be understated, with the correct preparation, it can be one of
     life’s most inspiring adventures.

The Fastnet leaves Cowes, Isle of Wight, heading down the English Channel, towards Land’s End in
preparation for the exposure of the Irish Sea and sight of the Fastnet Rock. Having rounded the
‘Rock’, the pace is quickened as the course skirts the Scilly Isles and makes haste for Plymouth and a
triumphant welcome. In all the Fastnet Race covers over 600nm and typically will take the
competitors about 4 - 5 days to complete in the prevailing winds. The race is scheduled to last from
     9th - 14th August.

The Hot Liquid Sailing 2009 Fastnet Campaign training and entry package is now available and
bookings are being taken. The fully inclusive cost is £2950 per person.

         Training Schedule

We support the Royal Ocean Racing Club statement that ‘The Rolex Fastnet Race is not a race for
novices. Every crew member must have experience of sailing a yacht offshore, and be prepared to
encounter heavy weather’ The Fastnet does have its challenges and our role at Hot Liquid is to
prepare you for these, which we do far in excess of the recommend minimum entry requirements.
