IFMA SILICON VALLEY PROGRAM KICKS-OFF 2010 WITH NEW BOARD
Motivational program by acclaimed author and coach Mike Robbins

San Jose, CA — January 27, 2010 — Starting the year off with a bang, the Silicon Valley Chapter
of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) swore in a new Board of Directors in
front of an audience of 250 at their January 27th meeting at the beautiful new Oshman Family
Jewish Community Center on the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto. Attendees also
heard author and coach Mike Robbins’ motivational message for 2010.

consisting of Executive Board members President Ed Novak, CFM, CFM Works; Vice President

his “3E” chapter goals: Operational Excellence, Exciting Events and Expanded Education.

Vice President Larry Morgan, who teaches the IFMA CFM and FMP credentialing classes noted,
“Traditional colleges do not offer the practical knowledge that IFMA courses and designations
offer. The material IFMA offers is world class and provides great tools to make informed decisions
when it comes to the heart and soul of facilities operations.”
