 1 (a) Home Improvement
This type of loan continued to be the largest category of loan – 81 – an increase 8 of 11% over the
previous year. However, there was a decrease in the loan amount for this category.

      (b) Mortgage Loan
There was no mortgage loan for the year under review. We would like to encourage our members
to make use of this type of loan as it is considered to be very attractive, 15.5% compared to other
 institutions.

  2. Education
Applications for this type of loan saw a reduction over the previous year. There was a decrease of
4 or 7% when compared to the corresponding period.

Members who requested that their loans be rescheduled are reminded to pay interest promptly
until they resume working. A significant number of requests for rescheduling came from this
category. The members are also being reminded to make interest payment during the period.

 3 (a) Motor Vehicle
Applications for motor vehicle loan showed a slight increase of 12%. However, this type of loan is
very competitive and members are asked to make use of this facility.

     (b) Auto Loan
Applications for auto loans during the year showed significant growth. Loans for the period moved
from 19 to 67 or 351%. This category accounted for the largest loan disbursement – a total of
$99,732,420.67. Under this loan scheme members are able to purchase new and used vehicles at
 very competitive rates.

 4. Debt Consolidation
There was an increase in loan disbursement for debt consolidation when compared to the previous
year. A new loan window ‘Income Maximizer’ has been opened to deal with such issues.
Members can consolidate their loans and pay less each month. Education, computer, vac pak or
back-to school loans may be accessed without demand for security. Maximum loan amount is
$300,000.00 at a rate of 25%. The loan term is 48 months with three (3) guarantors being the
required security. Where other securities such as land and house titles are used the interest rate
 is 20%.

 5. Medical and Funeral
Only a small number of these types of loans were accessed during the year.

A new loan window HELP’ has been created to assist with emergencies namely medical and
funeral. Members can access up to $200,000 for six (6) months at a rate of 25%.

                Prayer of
            St Francis of Assisi
Lord make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred let me sow love,
Where there is injury, Pardon,Where there is doubt, Faith,
Where there is despair, Hope,Where there is darkness, Light,
and Where there is sadness, Joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not
So much seek to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to be understand To be loved, as to love,
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
and it is in dying that we are born
                       to Eternal Life
