Jiasoj sl Jdfljsdoi State of Connecticut Core-CT Project Configuration Approach Injury Item Overview: The Nature of Injury Table Page and the Source of Injury Table Page are tables used in the Health and Safety module to setup codes to identify physical injuries and identify the source of the injury. For example, hearing loss or impairment is a type of injury. These codes are used in the Incident Details component. This code table identifies how the injury happened. For example, excessive noise is a possible source of injury (i.e., hearing loss or impairment). These codes are used in the Injury Details page. Record Information: PS RECORD NAME INJURY_NATR_TBL INJURY_SRCE_TBL Source of Injury Codes Approach: The State of Connecticut will use the Nature of Injury and the Source of Injury Table to setup codes and descriptions about work-related injuries and illnesses suffered by employees or non-employees. Currently AWCS has „Loss Descriptor Codes - Result‟ and „Loss Descriptor Codes - Cause‟ that would correspond to the PS Nature and Source Injury codes. These codes are accessible state wide and should remain so. Information Source:  The Department of Administrative Services – Workers‟ Compensation Unit will compile and supply the coding necessary to populate this table based on legacy system(s).
