Article Body:
I do not adhere in the majority of
the existing theories on the conspi
racy of Google. I do not believe ei
ther that Google gives a preference
to the Web sites which announce in
its program of AdWords, or which i
t moves away certain sites from the
first pages to encourage them to a
nnounce.

I do not believe that Google tries
some way that is to differently con
trol their markets than in a normal
ly competing way. And I do not beli
eve that Google is really super-arm
s military secret. I really believe
that Google has good intentions. B
ut these intentions continue to fri
ghten me. Finally, which I think of
Google is pure gamble, based on fa
cts easily available, but this spec
ulation on Google seems to be today
 the pastime of many people.

It is not a wonder: after all, Goog
le is simply the company more intri
gante which has honoured our econom
y for 10 years. I believe that Goog
le has good intentions, but as good
as they can be, the result of thei
r success frightens me. The creator
s of Google must be platonists If P
lato always lived, it would probabl
y work for Google. Google is in sea
rch of ideal, even if this one is f
inally inaccessible. With the diffe
rence of the majority of the princi
pal companies which make the titles
 of the financial newspapers, Googl
e is not mainly justified by the mo
ney.

The motivation of Google is _the In
tellectual_, overcoming the challen
ges of organized information. Googl
e known as: _The mission of Google
is to organize world information an
d to make it universally accessible
and useful_. And it is what it doe
s. This company quantified to sever
al billion dollars, indisputably on
e of most powerful in the world, ha
s the goal simple to organize world
 information.

Google is the vastest system of cat
alogue of planet. Naturally, that d
oes not want to say that Google doe
s not have any motivation for the m
oney - and it has certainly some. T
he machine with under that is Googl
e is the containing hydrocarbon one
 of its idealistic aspirations. Goo
gle can concern more challenges, to
bring more ressouces and it achiev
es finally more thanks to this mone
y. However the money never prevents
 the act collecting, organizing and
 from making information available,
 with contrario of Microsoft.

Although the mission of Microsoft i
s _to help the people and the compa
nies to reach their full capacities
_, this help is not free. The basic
 commodities of Microsoft are creat
ed to be sold. It is the traditiona
l model of the economic practices.
Compared with this traditional mode
l of business, that of Google is ve
ry idealistic. That can be due to t
he fact that Google was not created
to make money, but rather in respo
nse to the challenge that Sergey Br
in and Larry Page set up by develop
ing an effective search engine.

To include/understand the new devel
opments of Google Schmidt: _We work
hard to keep this image to be out
of control. But makes some, our com
pany is very measured. And that bel
onged to our secrecy. Page: _Genera
lly, we do not speak about our stra
tegy& because it is strategic. I pr
efer to let believe that we are con
fused rather than to make known wit
h our competitors what we will do_.
-- Extract of an interview of Time
s Magazine Well, let be to me the f
irst to congratulate _the Servant b
oys_ on Google. Your objective to a
ppear out of control was achieved.

During these last years, Google lau
nched several products which made t
ype the head of the analysts agains
t the walls. Several of these launc
hings met either a thin approval, o
r created a total confusion (it is
not what Google is judicious to do?
). These products also seem to be r
ather independent: products which m
ake it possible to people to organi
ze their planning (Google Calendar)
, or to analyze the statistics of t
heir Web sites (Google Analytics).

The idea which prevails is that Goo
gle launches these products like ma
nner of improving the conscience of
mark, to create other channels wit
h their AdWords program, or even fo
r simply launching something _to se
e_ if it obtains a general approval
 (like Google SiteMaps). However, i
f we look at these products in the
light of their mission (to gather a
nd organize world information), eac
h product belongs to the total miss
ion of Google. Finally, Google gath
ers well information and in very gr
eat part.

From this moment only, Google can b
egin its classification. Now Google
seeks the information of the users
, the latter request even for that.
The majority of the new products o
f Google store the information of t
he users. If you use the program of
tchat of Google, you can store all
your conversations in a history wi
th possibility of research. Google
Finance stores information on your
favorite stocks, on which you launc
h a monitoring.

GMail enables you to store until 3G
B emails, you incentive thus uncons
ciously not to remove them (it is p
erhaps what Google wants?). Google
Base was launched under the mysteri
ous explanation that it was the pla
ce where to subject and store your
contents, any contents. Google Read
er stores your histories of flow RS
S, and now Google Calendar is integ
rated into GMail and other services
to give you the possibility of sto
ring still more data thanks to Google.

Google does not launch new products
 to improve the conscience of mark;
it launches these new products to
collect more information and to lea
rn how all this information functio
ns together. This information can b
e related to a recorded user, and c
an be extracted by using the variou
s products from Google (such integr
ation of Google Calendar in GMail).
Up to which point I do want that G
oogle knows? If we really live in t
he era of information, then Google
could become the most powerful enti
ty of the world.

Although I did not see any official
study on the subject, I do not thi
nk that whoever would be astonished
by knowing that there is more the
information stored at Google than a
t any other company or multinationa
l in all the human history. Even wi
th all this information, Google see
ks always more. The question that w
e must be posed is only knowledge o
f which sum of information can hold
only one company. Let us be us opp
osed if Google Wallet became a pers
onal center of finance where you co
uld manage your balances in the bud
get, pay your invoices on line, and
 receive personalized financial rep
orts/ratios (naturally all accessib
le and integrated in Google Finance).

Is this it towards what we move wit
h Google while knowing a little bit
too much about us? Each new produc
t of Google is used to him to gathe
r more information. Although this g
oal to gather, organize and make av
ailable this information to the who
le world, is a rather innocent goal
, do not should not put to us on pa
use one moment: do we really want t
hat Google achieves this mission?
